Ford Pro Partners with Ernst & Young LLP

Ford Pro has exciting news for commercial customers as they expand their one-stop shop program with a brand new initiative. This program is designed to provide fleets with a better understanding of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) electric vehicle tax credits, aimed at making electric vehicle adoption more affordable. Ford’s commercial division is officially collaborating with professional services firm, Ernst & Young LLP (EY US), to offer customers information on potentially valuable tax credits and incentives.

Under the IRA, commercial customers have the opportunity to qualify for up to $7,500 per electric vehicle purchased. Ford vehicles that may qualify for IRA tax credits include the 2023 E-Transit van, 2023 F-150 Lightning pickup, 2023 Mustang Mach-E SUV, and 2023 Escape plug-in hybrid. Additionally, businesses that purchase and install Ford Pro Charging equipment may also qualify for IRA tax credits.

Ted Cannis, CEO of Ford Pro, expressed that businesses want to better understand incentives to adopt electric vehicles, especially those that pertain to the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act. Cannis also stated that this new initiative is another way Ford Pro is expanding its one-stop services to help commercial customers simplify and potentially lower the total cost of owning and operating their fleets.

This complimentary service is available to all Ford commercial customers who have been assigned a Ford Fleet Identification Number (FIN), including those with fleets of 15 vehicles or more and customers currently purchasing five vehicles. Eligible Ford Pro commercial customers can receive this information at no cost, which includes a one-time, 30-minute session.
